The World Taekwondo Demonstration Team(Mr. Na Il-han, Chief of WT Demonstration Team) delivered another superb performance in the semi-final of America’s Got Talent to book their place in the final.

The world-renowned team performed under the theme of overcoming disasters and living together with hope, spreading an important message to the show’s global audience. The captivating performance concluded with the team revealing a banner which read: 'Goodwill Cooperation Service.'  Their performance received a loud roar of applause from the audience.

The Demonstration Team were praised once again by the judges and received a standing ovation. Judge Heidi Klum said, "When you think 'Could it get repetitive?' No! It never does! You always top it. You bring something else. This time you brought the blind folds. It was incredible!" Judge Howie Mandell once again called the Demonstration Team the “best act of the night” and said he “could watch for two hours straight.” 

Host Terry Crews exclaimed to his Golden Buzzer act, “the danger level is off the charts!” A member of the team smiled said there are more surprises in store if the team advances to the final. 

Wold Taekwondo Demonstration Team they chosen by the judges to move on to the finals, which will take place on 14 September.

The World Taekwondo Demonstration Team strives to promote a more peaceful world through the sport. They hope their performances will inspire young people who live in places that are torn with war and natural disaster. 

세계태권도연맹(WT) 시범단(단장 나일한)이 ‘아메리카 갓 탤런트(America’s Got Talent)’ 결승에 진출했다.

결승에는 사전 시청자 투표 3팀과 현장 투표 1팀 사회자 결정 1팀 등 5팀이 진출하는데 WT 시범단은 심사위원의 결정으로 결승에 진출했다.

WT 시범단은 현지 시간 8월 31일 할리우드의 돌비 극장에서 시작한 첫번째 준결승전에서 11팀 중 6번째로 경연을 펼쳤다.

사회자 테리 크루즈는 자신이 골든 버저를 준 팀이며 그들은 단지 우승만이 아닌 다른 미션을 갖고 이 자리에 출연했다고 WT 시범단을 소개했다. 사회자의 소개말이 끝나고 바로 요르단의 시리아 난민 캠프에서 어린이들이 태권도를 수련하면서 활력을 찾는 영상이 미 전역에 방영되었다.

태권도는 단지 격투기만이 아닌 평화와 희망을 전달하는 스포츠로서 전쟁과 재해로 어려움을 겪는 많은 젊은이들에게 태권도를 통해 꿈과 희망을 주기위해 이 자리에 섰다는 시범단원의 내래이션과 함께 공연이 시작되었다.

WT시범단은 수많은 재해와 역경에도 서로 협력해 희망을 잃지 않는다는 주제로 칼군무 품새와 하늘로 날아올라 화려한 공중 동작을 펼쳐 보이고 여러 개의 송판을 잇달아 격파하며 관객들을 압도했다.
