World Jump Rope Committee (World JRC, President Kim Hoo-jun, hereinafter “Committee”) and World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation (President Choi Don-oh) signed MOU for the mutual sports development.
The signing ceremony was held at the office of World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation on November 06, 2021 (Sat) 11:00 AM with presence of President Kim Hoo-jun of World JRC, Secretary General Byun Ki-tae, President Choi Don-oh of World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation, President Kim Yong-un of World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation Gyeonggi-do Branch, Secretary General Jeong Jin-hyuk, and executives.
President Kim of Committee said “We are truly glad to sign MOU with World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation with over 60 member countries around the world. Signing the MOU will be a great opportunity to establish more foreign branches and develop into a global group. Next year, our committee will work with World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation on organizing an international jump rope competition to contribute on globalizing the sports and cooperate together on the win-win project.”
President Choi of World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation said “We are glad to sign MOU with World Jump Rope Committee leading the sports for all. The two organizations will be working together to develop both hapkido and jump rope. We also plan to provide jump rope seminars and instructor trainings for all member schools in Korea and other countries to make the better world for both Hapkido trainees and instructors”
World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation is an organization recognized by the Korean National Police Agency for additional points. President Choi is ranked 9 dan by Kukkiwon Taekwondo and he served as the director of the Central Sports Gym, won a presidential citation for contribution to sports development, martial arts instructor for Sogang University, deputy director of Korean team for World Youth Taekwondo Championship, and director of the Korean team for World Taekwondo Asia Poomsae Open Championships. President Choi also served as the head of Referee Committee for Technical Review, Kukkiwon, and commissioner and vice-president of Technical Committee for Korea Junior Taekwondo Federation. 세계줄넘기위원회(WorldJRC, 회장 김후준, 이하 ‘위원회’)는 사)세계합기도무도연맹(총재 최돈오)와 상호 스포츠 발전을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
체결식은 06일(토)오전11시에 사)세계합기도무도연맹 사무실에서 WorldJRC김후준 회장, 변기태 사무총장과 세계합기도무도연맹 최돈오 총재, 세계합기도무도연맹 경기도회장 김용운, 사무국장 정진혁 및 임원들이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.
위원회 김후준 회장은 “전 세계에 60개 회원국을 보유하고 있는 연맹과 업무협약을 맺게 되어 더욱 더 감회가 남다르다고 생각한다. 이번 세계합기도무도연맹과 업무협약을 통해 위원회는 한층 더 해외 지부 설립 및 글로벌한 단체로 발전할 수 있는 계기가 되었으며, 내년에는 국제줄넘기대회를 두 단체가 같이 주관하여 스포츠 발전 세계화에 기여함을 물론 공존 할 수 있는 프로젝트를 함께 만들어 가겠다.”라고 포부를 밝혔다.
세계합기도무도연맹 최돈오 총재은 “생활체육 NO1 세계줄넘기위원회와 업무협약을 맺게 되어 기쁘게 생각하며, 앞으로 합기도와 줄넘기 스포츠발전을 위해 두 단체가 협력하여 앞장설 것이며, 또한 조만간 국내 ,국외 연맹 회원도장을 대상으로 줄넘기세미나와 지도자연수를 통해 합기도수련생 및 지도자 모두가 행복한 세상을 만들겠다”고 말했다.
경찰청 가산점 인정 단체, 사단법인 세계합기도무도연맹 최돈오 총재님은 국기원 태권도 공인 9단이며, 재단법인 중앙체육원 이사장, 대통령표창 체육발전 유공자. 서강대학교 무도사범, 세계청소년태권도선수권대회 한국대표팀 부단장, 아시아청소년태권도품새 선수권대회 한국대표팀 단장으로 활약했으며, 국기원 기술심의회 심판위원장, 생활체육위원장과 한국중고등학교태권도연맹 기술전문위원회 의장, 상임부회장 등을 역임하면서 국내 태권도 발전에 지대한 영향을 끼친 인물이다.(끝)
