Kukkiwon will proceed with the presidential election and related personal information consent process to be held in September. 

In order to operate the election of the head of the Kukkiwon smoothly, consent will be obtained from TCON, the information management system of the Kukkiwon, from May 26 to collect, use, and provide personal information to third parties for domestic and foreign review recommendations. 

In March, the Kukkiwon changed the ratio of random selection of domestic and foreign review recommenders from 10% to 20% through the revision of the articles of association, greatly expanding the number of electors. 

Among the domestic and foreign candidates for screening recommendations, those who are registered in the KPS and KMS and have a track record of screening recommendations for the last two years (2023-2024). 

Electors must submit a "consent for collecting and using personal information and providing it to third parties" in accordance with the election management regulations of the director of the Kukkiwon. 

As the number of electors expands, the government plans to conduct a preliminary consent process for those who meet the conditions at home and abroad and encourage them to update changed personal information such as contacts, e-mails, and addresses.

This is to systematically manage the electors prior to the composition of the electors and prevent inconveniences that may occur, such as not receiving election guidance due to omission or omission of personal information. 

The Kukkiwon will promote it through text messages and e-mails (emails) so that as many people as possible can participate in the screening recommendation. 

Subjects can proceed with the consent process on the "Consent to the Use of Personal Information Related to the Election of the Director of the State" menu of the business management after logging in to the TCON, and individual information will be notified to those who have not completed consent to personal information after elector selection.

5월 26일부터 티콘(TCON)서 국내외 심사추천권자 대상…선거인 확대에 따른 효율적 관리

국기원이 오는 9월 실시할 원장 선거와 관련 개인정보 동의 절차를 진행한다.

국기원장 선거를 원활히 운영하기 위해 5월 26일부터 국내외 심사추천권자를 대상으로 국기원 정보관리시스템인 티콘(TCON)에서 개인정보 수집‧이용 및 제3자 제공을 위한 동의를 받는다.

국기원은 지난 3월 정관 개정을 통해 국내외 심사추천권자의 무작위 선정 비율을 10%에서 20%로 변경, 선거인을 크게 확대한 바 있다.

국내외 심사추천권자 중에서 선거인 구성 대상은 국기원 정보화시스템(KPS, KMS)에 등록돼 있고, 최근 2년(2023년~2024년)간 심사추천 실적이 있는 사람이다.

선거인은 국기원 원장선거관리 규정에 따라 ‘개인정보 수집‧이용 및 제3자 제공 동의서’를 필수적으로 제출해야 한다.

선거인이 확대됨에 따라 조건에 부합하는 국내외 심사추천권자를 대상으로 사전 동의 절차를 진행하며 더불어 연락처, 전자우편, 주소 등 변경된 개인정보를 갱신하도록 독려할 계획이다.

이는 선거인 구성에 앞서 체계적으로 선거인을 관리하고, 개인정보 오기나 누락으로 선거 안내를 받지 못하는 등 발생할 수 있는 불편을 사전에 방지하기 위함이다.

국기원은 최대한 많은 심사추천권자가 참여할 수 있도록 문자메시지와 전자우편(이메일) 등을 통해 홍보할 예정이다.

대상자는 티콘(TCON) 로그인 후 업무관리의 ‘국기원장 선거 관련 개인정보 활용 동의’ 메뉴에서 동의 절차를 진행할 수 있고, 선거인 선정 후 개인정보 동의를 완료하지 않은 선거인에게는 개별 안내한다.
