Daedo PSS, selected for Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games
Swiss Timing has selected Daedo PSS(Protector and Scoring System) as the electronic scoring system to be used at Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games, which will be held next October in the Argentinian capital. The event will last from Saturday October 6 until Thursday October 18, with Taekwondo as one of the main sports included in the programme.
The event, promoted by the the International Olympic Committee (COI), gathers young athletes aged between 15 and 18, and it is held every four years. World Taekwondo has established a G-10 category for the event, which makes it a great opportunity for youngsters to take a step forward in the official rankings.
The Youth Olympic Games is the world’s largest multi-sport event for high-performance young athletes, that aims at inspiring athletes to embrace the Olympic values of RESPECT, FRIENDSHIP, AND EXCELLENCE.
Qualification Tournament.
As a results of this choice from Swiss Timing, the World Taekwondo Qualification Tournament for the event, which will take place in Hammamet, Tunisia, between April 6-7, will also have Daedo PSS as its scoring system.
World Taekwondo Junior Championships
This Qualification Tournament will be the preamble to another big event of the year 2018: The Hammamet 2018 World Taekowndo Junior Championships, a G-6 category competition which will also use Daedo PSS during the 5 days of action (April 9-13).

대도 전자호구가 부에노스 아이레스 2018 청소년 올림픽 게임에 채택
스위스 타이밍은 대도 전자호구를 10월, 아르헨티나의 수도에서 열리는 부에노스 아이레스 2018 청소년 올림픽 게임에서 쓰일 전자 점수 체계(PSS)로 선택했다. 이 경기는 10월 6일 토요일부터 10월 18일 목요일까지 진행되며 프로그램에 태권도가 메인 스포츠로 포함되어있다.
이 경기는 국제 올림픽 위원회(IOC)가 15세에서 18세의 청소년 선수들을 모아 진행되며 4년마다 열린다. 세계 태권도 연맹(WT)는 이 경기를 위해 G-10 등급을 부여하여 젊은 선수들이 공식 랭킹에 한 단계 더 나아갈 수 있는 좋은 기회를 마련했다.
청소년 올림픽 게임은 수준급의 경기력을 가진 청소년 선수들을 위한 세계에서 2번째 큰 멀티 스포츠 경기이며, 이 경기의 목표와 취지는 선수들로 하여금 올림픽 정신인 존중, 우정 그리고 우수성을 포용할 수 있도록 격려하는 데에 있다.
예선전
스위스 타이밍의 선택의 결과로, 4월 6일과 7일, 튀니지 하마메트에서 치뤄지는 이 경기의 세계 태권도 예선전에서도 대도 전자호구가 점수 체계로 쓰이게 된다.
세계 태권도 주니어 선수권 대회
이 예선전은 2018년 올해의 또 다른 큰 경기인 2018 하마메트 세계 태권도 주니어 선수권 대회의 서두가 될 것이며 5일 동안 열리는 G-6항목 경기에서도 대도 전자 호구를 사용할 것이다. (4월 9일-13일)
