G.M Lee dong-sup assemblyman, invited and encouraged Taekwondo heroes in Afghanistan

On 10th, at 4pm, G.M Lee dong-supassemblyman(62, Kukkiwon 9th Dan, President of National Assemblyman Taekwondo Federation) invited heroes of Afghanistan Taekwondo to National Assembly Hall and encourage them.

Head coach Min sik-hak director, who is working as the director of Afghanisten National Taekwondo Team sice he has appointed as Afghanistan National Taekwondo Director in 2004, took part in '2018 Jeju Korea Open International Taekwondo Competition'(WT G2, Hanla Gym) which was grand opened from last month 18th to 24th and 2,664 athletes and executives were participated who are from 61countries. Mansouri Farzad and Abdul Rahimzai Ahmad who participated in the junior -78kg class, won the gold medal in the world championship in history and won two more bronze medals.

                        이동섭 의원, 아프카니스탄 태권도 영웅들 초청 격려

10일 오후 4시 이동섭의원(62, 국기원 공인9단, 국회의원태권도연맹 총재)가 아프카니스탄 태권도 영웅들을 국회 의원회관으로 초청해 격려하며 환담의 시간을 가졌다.

2004년 아프카니스탄 태권도 대표팀 감독으로 부임하여 현재까지 대표팀 감독으로 활동하고 있는 민식학 감독(47)은 지난달 18일부터 24일까지 61개국에서 2천664명의 선수와 임원이 참가하여 역대 최대 규모로 열린 ‘2018 제주코리아오픈 국제태권도대회’ (WT-G2, 한라체육관)에서 주니어 -78Kg급에 출전한 파르져드선수와 만수리 파르져드선수가 느사르 압둘자이 아흐마드 선수가 역사상 세계선수권대회 최초의 금메달을 획득하고 추가로 동메달 2개를 차지했다.

이에 아프카니스탄 온 국민들은 2018 제주코리아오픈 국제태권도대회 조직위 공식 홈페이지를 통해 이 소식을 접하고 잠시나마 내전을 멈추고 축제분위기에 화합의 분위기가 연출 되었다고 민감독은 전했다.

또한 영국의 BBC방송은 이 소식을 직접 취재하여 방영<https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1491686534266153>하였고 또한 아프카니스탄 미국대사관은 SNS통해 축전<https://www.facebook.com/kabulusembassy/photos/a.59994548909.68483.34734118909/10156583732848910/?type=3>을 보낸 사연을 보면 텔레반과의 회담에서는 “귀하의 나라에서 이번 국제대회에서 역사상 첫 금메달은 딴 것은 대표선수 선발시 이념 대립을 넘어 서로의 화합된 힘으로 하나의 나라로서 훌륭한 선수를 파견하여 이런 좋은 결실을 맺었듯이 모든 면에서 화합을 기대한다”라며 이 소식을 인용하여 모두발언에 언급했다고 한다.

이렇듯 아프카니스탄 태권도팀의 소식을 접한 이의원은 이들에게 태권도를 통한 특별한 평화메신저로서의 역할에 감동이고 자랑이라고 격려의 말을 전하고 더불어 태권도의 가치를 다시 강조하며 자부심을 갖고 수련에 임하고 돌아오는 제18회 자카르타 팔렘방 아시안게임에 출전하는 4명의 선수가 모두 좋은 결과를 얻어 다시 한 번 아프카니스탄 국민들에게 큰 희망의 선물을 전하길 바란다고 했다.

또한 김상진 부산시태권도협회장(주, 천우테크 대표이사)에게도 “김회장님께서 오랜 시간 이 대표팀을 위해 카불에 전용 훈련장을 지어주는 등 남모르게 물심양면으로 적극적인 지원을 하는 것을 잘 알고 있다. 김회장님이 계시기에 이런 아름다운 꽃을 피울 수 있었다. 진심으로 태권도인의 한 사람으로서 존경과 감사의 인사를 드린다.”라고 김회장님에게 감사의 뜻을 잊지 않고 전했다.

한편, 한국 전지훈련을 겸하고 있는 대표선수단은 성남과 포천을 오가며 구술 땀을 흘리고 15일경 귀환한다.
