Simple Ceremony for 2nd Anniversary of Kukki(National sports)Taekwondo Legislation

Everyone is actively participating in the social distancing movement to prevent spread of COVID-19.

Although Taekwondo field is also closing down the Taekwondo schools and participating in the movement, the economic loss is tremendous.

However, the government does not come up with policy to compensate for loss of Taekwondo schools. There are about 12,000 Taekwondo schools and approximately 100,000 related families are going through hard times. Furthermore, it is expected that over 30% of students won’t come back to Taekwondo schools even after the end of COVID-19 and this is becoming a serious concern in Taekwondo field. 

On March 30, the elders in Taekwondo field, members of Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation, held a simple ceremony for 2nd anniversary of Kukki Taekwondo legislation to reignite the dying fire and encouraged the depressed Taekwondo people by sending them messages.

On March 30, 2018, Kukki Taekwondo was legislated after its 70 years of history as Dongsub Lee(member of Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation), a member of the National Assembly, got signatures from 228 members and won consents from 225 members. While Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation originally planned on holding a grand ceremony at Taekwondowon in cooperation with related organizations, 9 Dan Federation decided to hold a short ceremony for this year due to COVID 19. In response, few related Taekwondo people gathered at election office of Dongsub Lee and held a simple ceremony. 

In the ceremony, 30 members of Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation gathered together. In a commemorative address, Lee said that he was known as a man crazy after Taekwondo rather than a member of National Assembly and that he invested every time and effort for past days. Lee also showed his determination and said that he plans on solving tasks such as re-establishment of Kukkiwon after getting re-elected. In addition.

Younggi Cho, the first president of Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation, said Lee is the first person to make huge achievements after the governor Unyoung Kim in the history of Taekwondo. Cho also appealed on uniting together and helping Lee re-enter the National Assembly. In addition, Cho pointed out that how all Taekwondo organizations didn’t mention about ceremony for Kukki Taekwondo legislation and that Taekwondo people should unite together to overcome this crisis.

In the address of Gyungduk Kim, the president of 9 Dan Federation, Kim suggested on having a pride as the root of Taekwondo. Especially, Kim said the rumor of personal insult is different from the fact and that he will handle the matter strictly. Kim also emphasized that he never damaged the honor of Kukkiwon Taekwondo 9 Dan Federation. 

The ceremony also included a cake cutting event and it ended with instructor Younghun Kwon shouting a slogan of “Defeat, Defeat, Defeat COVID-19” to encourage depressed Taekwondo leaders.    

In shouting the slogan, all participants raised their right hand and only Kwon shouted out the slogan in a strong voice.

简化举行国技跆拳道立法两周年纪念活动.
 
因为新型冠状病毒疫情，韩国正在执行保持社会距离措施，为响应此号召跆拳道馆也自行关闭等待疫情的好转，但是韩国政府目前还没制定针对跆拳道馆支持政策。韩国将近1200多家道馆直接受到影响的人口总数少说也得十万多人，市场预计待疫情结束重返道馆的学生也会锐减30%以上，整体市场预期是相当悲观的。为了能够给广大从业者予以信息，韩国国技院跆拳道九段会于三月三十日以简化方式举行了国技跆拳道立法两周年纪念活动。
 
在韩国跆拳道以国技立法是再2018年三月三十日李铜燮国会议员（九段会会员）得到228名国会议员联名发起，最后以225票赞成得以通过立法程序，这是韩国跆拳道70多年历史上开天辟地的时间。九段会原计划邀请相关团体在跆拳道园举行纪念活动，但因疫情决定今年简化举行相关纪念活动。

本次今年活动在李东燮议员选举本部举行，与会人员除了李东燮议员以外还有九段会三十多名会员参加。纪念活动上李东燮议员表示，回顾以往在韩国国会从事政治活动时都以跆拳道人姿态进行了很多议政工作，如果连任成功将继续努力推动国技院的重建等议题。

赵英启九段会首任会长致辞时表示，回顾跆拳道发展史除金云龙总裁以外获得如此之高社会效应的只有李东燮议员，所以我们跆拳道人一定要帮助李议员连任成功，目前因为疫情做大型纪念活动是不合适的，但是在如此重要的日子作为跆拳道团体竟然没有一个出来表示要举行纪念活动是让人很失望的。

金慶德九段会长通过致辞表示，树要茁壮成长根要深，九段会作为跆拳道界的根要为跆拳道发展贡献力量，现在外界对九段会说三道四，这些都是子虚乌有的事情大家要努力团结在一起为跆拳道发展做出贡献。

纪念活动大家以切纪念蛋糕方式和在全英勋师范带领下给一线从业者喊加油口号的方式结束了全天活动.

                                 국기태권도 법제정 2주년 기념식’ 간소하게 진행 

30일 11시 사단법인 ‘국기원태권도9단 연맹’(회장 김경덕)회원들이 노원구 이동섭 미래통합당 후보 선거사무소에서 30여 명의 회원들이 참석한 가운데 '국기태권도 법제정 2주년 기념식'을 진행 했다.

현재 코로나19사태로 사회적 거리두기 운동으로 온 국민이 혼신의 힘을 다하여 참여하고 있다.

태권도계도 계속 도장 문을 폐쇄하고 운동에 참여하고 있기는 하나 경제적 손실은 너무나 크다.

그러나 정부에서는 태권도장의 손실을 메워 주는 정책은 보이지 않는다. 12,000 여 개 도장에 딸린 가족들만 어립 잡아 10만 명에 이르는데 이들의 생계가 막막하기만 하다.

아울러 이 사태가 종식 되더라도 30% 이상이 도장에 안 나올 것 이리는 진단이 나와 상당한 우려를 자아내는 게 현 태권도계의 현실이다.

이러한 꺼져가는 불씨를 조금이라도 살려 보고자 태권도계의 원로들의 사단법인 국기원태권도 9단연맹 회원들이 3월30일 국기태권도 법 제정 2주년 기념식을 조출하게 갖고 실의에 빠진 태권도인 들에게 메세지를 보내며 힘을 불어넣었다.

국기태권도 제정은 2018년 3월30일 이동섭 국회의원이(국기원태권도9단연맹 회원)국회에서 의원 228명의 서명을 받아 대표 발의하여 225명의 찬성으로 태권도역사 70 여년 만에 국기태권도가 법으로 제정된 것이다.

국기원태권도9단 연맹에서는 원래 유관단체들과 협조하여 전북무주군 소재 국립태권도원에서 성대히 기념식을 개최하려 했으나 코로나19로 인해 올해는 약식으로 하고 그 주역인 이동섭 의원 선거사무실에서 뜻있는 몇 분들이 모여 간소하게 기념식을 거행했다.

이날 식에는 사단법인 국기원태권도 9단연맹 회원 30여명이 모인 가운데 이동섭 의원은 기념사를 통해 “국회에서 국회의원이라 보다도 태권도에 미친 사람으로 알려져 있었다. 돌아보면 지나온 날이 오로지 태권도에 올 인한 것 같다. 재선하면 아직도 못 다한 국기원 재 건립문제 등의 숙제를 풀 생각이다”며 필승을 다짐 했다. 또한 조영기 국기원태권도9단 연맹 초대회장은 축사를 통해 “태권도 역사상 김운용 총재 이래 이만한 업적은 남긴 사람은 없다. 우리 태권도인 들이 힘을 합쳐 이회원을 다시 국회에 재입성 시키자. 코로나19사태로 이유는 있겠으나 태권도 어느 단체든지 국기태권도 법제정 기념식에 대한 말이 없다. 이럴 때 일수록 심기일전하여 이 위중한 사태를 이겨 나가자” 했다.

이어 김경덕 국기원태권도9단 연맹 회장은 축사를 통해 “뿌리가 없는 나무가 없듯시 우리는 태권도의 뿌리로서 자긍심을 가지고 당당하게 나가자. 특히 항간에 회자되고 있는 인신공격은 사실과 다른 부분이 있기에 엄정 대처 할 것이라며 국기원태권도9단 연맹의 명예를 실추시킨 적은 없다“고 했다.

끝으로 기념식은 기념 케잌커팅과 권영훈 사범의 우울해 있는 태권도 지도자들에게 힘을 불어 넣어주는 구호 “코로나19 이기자! 이기자! 이긴다!“ 구호제창으로 기념식을 모두 마쳤다.

구호 제창 시는 모두 오른손만 높이 쳐들고 권영훈 구호 제창자만 우렁차게 구호를 제창했다.
