(WT & GCS International President Dr. Chungwon Choue's Video Message for the Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Poomsae Open 2020)

Lents Taekwondo & Worldwide Sports Online are pleased to host “Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Open 2020”

featuring Recognized Poomsae, Freestyle, Para & Beach Poomsae in September 2020, with the support of World Taekwondo Europe & in collaboration with GCS International - Goodwill Cooperation Service supporting a humanitarian cause.

Together with our partners Vaztic, KWON & Martial Events we are thrilled to host the 8-day long championship, which is open for the whole world.

The competition format is video upload with live judging by some of the most qualified International Referees in the world.

This event will also make history by hosting the very 1st Online Beach Poomsae Competition ever performed on sand. Unfortunately many events have been cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, and by hosting “Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Open 2020”, our goal is to unite & inspire athletes, coaches & referees worldwide in the joy of the participation at this online Taekwondo event.

By competing in this championship, you will automatically support homeless children in Cambodia. The inspiration came from President Chungwon Choue’s motto: “Peace is More Precious than Triumph”,

where we decided to create awareness for the less fortunate children in Cambodia through the online championships, since Taekwondo can be an effective tool to help promote world peace.

From each athlete entry fee, an amount of 1 US$ will be donated to the GCS International. We are thrilled to promote Peace, Goodwill & Friendship through Taekwondo.

태권도 월드와이드 스포츠온라인 온라인 품새 오픈 2020는 유럽태권도연맹의 지원을 받고 인도주의적 대의를 지원하는 GCS Internationa과 공동으로 2020년 9월 공인 품새, 프리스타일, 파라 & 비치 품새가 선보이는 '태권도 월드와이드스포츠 온라인 품새 오픈 2020'을 개최하게 된다.

파트너인 바즈틱, 권 태권도와 함께 전 세계를 대상으로 열리는 8일간의 대회를 개최하게 된다. 경기 방식은 자격이 있는 국제 심판들이 실시간으로 채점하는 비디오 업로드 형식이다.

이 행사는 또한 모래 위에서 행해진 최초의 온라인 비치 품새 대회를 개최함으로써 역사를 만들 것으로 보인다.

안타깝게도 세계적인 COVID-19 대유행으로 인해 많은 행사가 취소 되면서, "2020년 태권도 월드와이드 스포츠 온라인 품새 오픈 2020"을 개최함으로써, 우리의 목표는 이 온라인 태권도 행사에 참가하는 기쁨에 전세계 선수, 코치, 심판들을 단결시키고 영감을 주는 계기가 것이다.

이번 대회에 출전하면 캄보디아에서 노숙아동을 자동으로 지원한다. 태권도가 세계 평화 증진에 효과적인 도구가 될 수 있기 때문에 온라인 대회를 통해 캄보디아에서 불우한 어린이들에게 인식을 심어 주는 WT, 조정원 총재의 모토인 '승리보다 평화'에서 영감을 받은 것이다.

각 선수 참가비 중 1 US$가 GCS International에 기부 된다.

이번 대회를 통해 평화와 친선 그리고 우정을 홍보하게 될 것으로 보인다.
