World Jump Rope Committee (Chairman : Kim Hoo-jun, hereinafter “Committee”) established branches at Asian countries, India, China, and Taiwan followed by Australian Jump Rope Committee (hereinafter “Australian Committee”).

The signing ceremony was held at October 7, 2021 (Thur) 2:00 PM at the Committee’s office by the video conference. The Chairman Kim Hoo-jun, Secretary General Byun ki-tae, and Director Kim Kyeong-sik  of the Committee and President Kim ki-joo  and other board members of Australian Committee attended in the signing ceremony.

Chairman Kim said “I am glad to found Australian Committee and it will be a great chance to become more global committee. We also plan to establish overseas branches not only in Asian countries but also in the United States and Europe. Our committee will continue to hold jump rope education seminars in Korea. As soon as the COVID-19 ends, we will cooperate with each overseas branch, discuss on seminar schedule, foster the global instructors and referees, and plan international jump rope competitions organized and hosted by the Committee to become a global organization.” Chairman Kim also said “A board meeting was held recently and the board members agreed on changing the names to Indian Jump Rope Committee, Chinese Men Jump Rope Committee, Taiwanese Jump Rope Committee, and Australian Committee in order to elevate the status of branches. The board members also agreed on changing the branch manager position to president.”

President Kim of Australian Committee said “In signing the 4th overseas branch, I will try my best and fulfill my duties as the president. Our Australian Committee will hold WorldJRC Cup, Australian Jump Rope Competition, and jump rope seminars so that the Committee can be dream and hope for athletes around the world.”

세계줄넘기위원회(WorldJRC 회장 김후준, 이하 ‘위원회’)는 아시아 인도, 중국, 대만 지부설립에 이어 호주줄넘기위원회(이하 ‘호주위원회’)를 설립하였다.

체결식은 7일(목) 오후 2시 세계줄넘기위원회 사무실에서 화상회의로 체결식이 이루어졌다. WorldJRC 김후준 회장과 변기태 사무총장, 김경식 이사 참석했고, 호주위원회에서는 김기주 회장 및 임원들이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.

위원회 김후준 회장은 “해외 호주지부를 통해 좀 더 글로벌한 위원회로 한걸음 더 가까워지고 있어 매우 기쁘게 생각한다고 말했다. 또한 아시아권 지부 뿐만 아니라 미국, 유럽 등 해외지부 설립 계획도 가지고 있다. 위원회는 앞으로 국내 줄넘기 교육세미나 뿐만 아니라 코로나가 종식되는대로 각 해외지부들과 협력하여 세미나 일정을 협의하여 국제 지도자 및 국제 심판 양성을 통해 위원회에서 주최, 주관하는 세계줄넘기대회 등을 기획하여 글로벌 단체로 이끌어 가겠다.”고 말했다. 또한 “얼마전 개최된 이사회에서 각 국내, 외 지부를 승격시키는 차원에서 명칭을 변경해 인도줄넘기위원회, 중국하남성줄넘기위원회, 대만줄넘기위원회, 호주줄넘기위원회로 명칭은 변경하기로 하고 직책도 지부장에서 회장으로 변경하기로 이사회에서 통과시켰다.”고 밝혔다.

호주위원회 김기주 회장은 “아시아 4호 해외지부 체결을 통해 회장으로서 무한한 책임감을 갖고 최선을 다해 책무를 다할 것이며, 또한 WorldJRC Cup 호주오픈줄넘기대회 및 줄넘기세미나 개최를 통해줄넘기가 전 세계 스포츠인들에게 꿈과 희망을 줄 수 있는 위원회로 더 크게 발전할 수 있도록 미약하지만 최선을 다해 돕겠다.”고 전했다.
